Ben Schrenzel, co-founder and Director of STS Recruiting, began his career in the IT world, starting as a programmer and rising to the rank of CIO, and then founded and ran a successful software company. In 1997 he started STS as an IT recruiting firm, which has now grown to include practices in Executive/Management, IS/IT, Accounting/Finance, Sales/Marketing, Engineering/Design and Operations/Administration.

Ben was raised in New York City. He obtained a degree in Psychology and attended las school at the University of Puget Sound (now part of Seattle University). His personal interests include all aspects of computer technology, music, being in the great outdoors, the physical sciences, and spending time with his family. This combination of a technical, managerial and business background has given him the unique capabilities to provide the highest possible level of success to the clients and candidates who trust their employment activities to STS.
